Anyway, this will have to do for now.
Purim sameach to all!
Ping.
This is good. Prayers for the computer...
Plus the motor in this thing sounds like a tractor. I'm not sure they ran it in the shop before selling it.
At any rate, it's Purim. I'll take this thing in on mon. morning. Right now I need to relax a little.
That's always a bad sign...
Shadow - is there anyone who can help?
The thing is, on my old computer my AcAfee recognized my AVG firewall. Now it doesn't, and since it doesn't have the Norton firewall, it wants me to buy McAfee's. It may just be an advertising gimmick ("if they don't have Norton's, scare 'em into buying ours!").
My main concern now is simply that it's still a little slow and clunky (probably par for the course with used computers) and the motor sometimes runs very loud. That really shouldn't be happening, should it?
At any rate, I'm taking it back to the shop mon. just for them to play around with it a bit and see if they have any concerns (six month warranty).
I suppose when you opt to buy an old used computer instead of a new one, you have to put up with certain things.
At any rate, Purim sameach!
Being a Jewish/Noachide Caucus, does everyone on your ping list fall into those two categories?
Some are chr*stians who have requested to be added to the ping list. But they are guests here and they behave that way.
Speaking of which, why don't you start up a discussion on one of the readings instead of listing them?
Do you not know the rules of caucused threads? They are allowed to participate provided they behave as guests, which is what they are. If you don't like the rules of caucused threads, take it up with the moderators.

I post the readings for those interested in knowing them. Others far more competent than I have commented on them and posted very enlightening material.
Plus I haven't posted much of anything lately. In case you didn't know I've been without a computer for over a week and am still tweaking this used one I just bought.
Do you have some sort of problem with me or something? I have no idea why you are posting these comments. Why don't you complain on someone else's caucused thread--or is it just Jews and Noachides you don't like?
Please take me off your ping list.

So, yeah, I do know how caucus threads work.
Please take me off your ping list.
Very well. But may I ask what I have done that has offended you???
I had thought about being removed for some time now since 99% of the time these threads are just a list of readings with no meaningful commentary.
If you want an open thread don’t put caucus in the title.
I pointed out that non Jew/Noachides were not supposed to post to Jew/Noachide caucus threads and you questioned my intelligence regarding caucused thread rules, then quickly pulled out the anti-Semite card.
That was the clincher.
All Jews and Noachides are welcome to post whatever commentary they want to. I am primarily providing the single service of making the liturgical reading schedule available to anyone who is interested.
If you want an open thread dont put caucus in the title.
How is it an open thread? It is for Jews, Noachides, and chr*stian guests to see the readings for the week and comment if they wish to.
I pointed out that non Jew/Noachides were not supposed to post to Jew/Noachide caucus threads
Okay, now I don't know what you're talking about. The chr*stians who are on the ping list explicitly asked to be added to view the readings and know to behave as guests. Any chr*stian who starts posting chr*stian material will have his post deleted and if he persists will be banned from the thread. But on what grounds do you demand that I remove well-behaved chr*stian guests who have explicitly asked to be on the list and who have never misbehaved?
and you questioned my intelligence regarding caucused thread rules, then quickly pulled out the anti-Semite card.
That was the clincher.
Do you think I immediately recognized your screen name? How many times must I remind you that I have been extremely busy and am currently trying to tweak a newly-purchased used computer after losing my old one? I simply have other things on my mind right now.
Perhaps your problem isn't so much with me as with the moderator who pulled your own thread. And since I know nothing whatsoever about it, I cannot comment on it.
Download the free version of AVG...does all you need...magritte
My thread didn’t get pulled. Why are you lying?
I had a caucused thread the mod removed (Post 11 above)
Now get lost.
