Romney has his eye on the prize instead of on his eternal destiny...in more than one way. Since he holds high priesthood positions in the mormon church, this speaker thinks he should have spoken out for another "persecuted minority"...(see article).

Mormons should no more support a Ground Zero mosque than they should support Boeing building a shiny new office building overlooking the Hiroshima Bomb Dome, or a cavalry reunion right outside the reservation that contains Wounded Knee.
And that, of course, goes for the people of every other religion.

Wow, this article has more snips for editing than a Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interview!

Well stated and I agree. I can see why you double posted it.

Given the LDS’ willful treason recently in forcing through Utah’s illegal alien amnesty bill, nothing would surprise me about this bunch. Just disgusted with them and their unholy alliance with the Chamber to shove that down Utahns’ throats.

You mean the wildly unpopular, rushed bill. And it’s not amnesty, it allows for work visas, if the Fed Gov approves them. Still many Utahn’s are extremely angry, because there should be no amnesty whatsoever.
And while you’re ranting, remember that a Latter-day Saint wrote Arizona’s wildly popular anti-immigration bill. But you won’t hear much about that either, because this thread meant to be a hit job, just like they always tend to be. It’s inconsequential though, in the big picture.

suicide pact?
Nah, just one of Satan's interservice support agreements.

Agreed. And the fact that this Bostonian liberal “scholar” is not a Latter-day Saint, signifies that this article means nothing, except a liberal has an opinion that he can influence a whole church’s opinion to a wildly unpopular action, simply because they were abused in the past, and he want’s a simpathy cause, like “hate crimes.”
Then again, you’d know that by the origin of the thread.

Mormons should no more support a Ground Zero mosque than they should support Boeing building a shiny new office building overlooking the Hiroshima Bomb Dome, or a cavalry reunion right outside the reservation that contains Wounded Knee. One should really read the entire article at the link for insight into why this speaker thinks otherwise. He stated that Senator Hatch supported the mosque and "community center".
Also, there have been several articles posted regarding the ongoing ties between mormons and muslims.

Wow, this article has more snips for editing than a Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interview! That's why reading the article at the source is suggested. Some interesting stuff had to be left out in order to adhere to posting rules.

Did he mean Jews?
