“Oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms need to be taught in education” What for? Most teens and tweens already watch poisonous TV shows that promote all of the above. I guess it’s about indoctrinating the ones whose parents are wise to the corrosive influence of most TV programs.
It’s “the only way to combat heterosexism and gender conformity”. No, it’s not. It is not the school’s job to teach values, be they conservative or liberal. Schools should teach children the skills they need to prepare for college or a trade. Here’s a novel concept Ms. Schneider: if you’re so concerned about heterosexism and gender conformity, why don’t YOU teach YOUR children YOUR values and leave it at that? If liberal parents want to teach their children liberal values, that’s their prerogative, but trying to sexualize everybody else’s children in accordance with their idea of utopia is a waste of class time at best and a blatant display of hubris at worst. Liberals: they tolerate all manner of cultures and beliefs except those that are different from their beliefs.
