As an Evangelical I have come to the understanding that as long as the denomination teaches the basic fundamentals of Christianity, then who am I to judge? And of those denominations no two are alike because we as Gods people are not all alike. Even in the days of the first Church there were differences. Paul could have wrote one letter and sent them to all seven Churches, but he didn't. He needed all seven. And to each of those churches he wrote praises, and condemnations. Same I think could be said today.

“... as long as the denomination teaches the basic fundamentals of Christianity ...” I can see your point! Unfortunately, Mormonism is antithetical to the basic tenets of Christianity, starting with their assertion that the god of Mormonism, living as a man (not Jesus, a previous man) had to earn the attributes of godhood and be appointed by a council of gods to rule over earth.
