Actually, yes, every time I set out on such a project, that was the result.
Not every time. Not yet.
I’ve set out on such a project 3-5 times.
3-5 times that has been the result.
I was there. I was on the receiving end.
I *can* count to 5.
Well put.

Matthew 5
38 “You have heard that it was said, `An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’
39 But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also;
40 and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well;
41 and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
42 Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you.
43 “You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
48 You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Truly what we are called to do. Sadly for me an ideal often not reached.
Jesus founded Catholicism. Thank God.
Same here.
Prayer helps me too.

My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden,
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with His arm:
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
and the rich He has sent empty away.
He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen
Magníficat ánima mea Dóminum,
et exsultávit spíritus meus
in Deo salvatóre meo,
quia respéxit humilitátem
ancíllæ suæ.
Ecce enim ex hoc beátam
me dicent omnes generatiónes,
quia fecit mihi magna,
qui potens est,
et sanctum nomen eius,
et misericórdia eius in progénies
et progénies timéntibus eum.
Fecit poténtiam in bráchio suo,
dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui;
depósuit poténtes de sede
et exaltávit húmiles.
Esuriéntes implévit bonis
et dívites dimísit inánes.
Suscépit Ísrael púerum suum,
recordátus misericórdiæ,
sicut locútus est ad patres nostros,
Ábraham et sémini eius in sæcula.
Glória Patri et Fílio
et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio,
et nunc et semper,
et in sæcula sæculórum.
Amen.
A slight aside, one I have no doubt will get me at least one flame:
I would like to stop focusing so much of our attention on Quix. I doubt anyone will listen to me, but please consider the stress it puts us under, what it does to others who would otherwise listen and read and benefit, and how much of our energies it wastes that could be better suited to our other duties and entertainment.
I will always stand with and support my Roman Catholic friends and family, much as you have all welcomed this lonely little Anglican in, but it is very troubling to see so much turmoil brought on by our frustrations with the posts from someone we are not reaching anyway. It only serves to bring us more grief from the anti-Catholic minds of Quix and Co., and it takes us away from far better focuses of our attention.
Do as you will. I will still be with you. But I hope we can make a concerted effort to give less legitimacy to the anti-Catholic nonsense Quix spreads.
Tonight all I ask is for prayer. Simply prayer.
Amen.
And thanks.
Remember we have to test the spirits. I have had supernatural occurences in my life. Foremost I have covered the blood of Christ on the supernatural. I have had auditory supernatural speak to me. I have covered it with pray.
We are not just to expect some supernatural experience to be true. We go by what The Holy Spirit shows. Which is to test the spirit. 1John4 Even if the visionary says it in the story. She or Him can lie. Why a human being can still lie. Then still have a chance to repent because we(human beings) are not judged yet until after death. The fallen angels are already judge as Christ says in scripture. This is why they can not confess in the personal pronoun that Christ came in the flesh 1 John4. But remember again a human being can lie until death then he or she is judged.
Thanks for the ping. I know you mean well.
Praise Jesus!!!
So much for OSAS.
Agreed.
Anybody who believes “Once Saved Always Saved” is whistling past the graveyard.
Better to go by the “Just a Closer Walk with Thee, Grant it Jesus is my plea, daily walking close to Thee, let it be, dear Lord, let it be.”
That means we must reject the paganism that has crept into Christianity and embrace the truth of our roots. The two branches must become one. There is only one God, one covenant, one word, one way; all that is embodied in Jesus the Christ, Yahshua HaMashiach.
Shalom. Continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Thank you and AMEN.
THAT is something I will always give.
