In all reality nobody but nobody is truly saved until we walk past the gates of Heaven. Where no more temptations exists from the tempter , the flesh or the World. Until then you are not truly saved from the enemy which caused this selfish world we live in for now. The Bible is a map from God to get to this place. His kingdom. In the mean time it's a walk. It's a walk not a talk only ( I am saved).

1JOHN5" This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

How many people I have met who are delusional like a person from work. He would go to Christian coffee shops and church to get alone to massage womens feet first then work his way up to other things. He did it repeatly. He was proud of it. He says he is saved because once saved always saved. There are millions of them like this Guy and woman he meets. All because they have been taught once saved always saved. This is devil inspired foolishness. You have to live the life period. God will not be mocked!!!

Praise Jesus!

" 1- JOHN:
5. " This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
6. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness "

Get your facts and bible right and straight.

John is not talking about those who claim they are Christians, but, are struggling with some sort of sin.

If you bother to read this letter carefully, it's in close relation to the first chapter of the Gospel of John.

The Gospel of John:

( * John 1 (King James Version)

John 1

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Note/Comments:

John in his letter opens up his letter just like this verse in the Gospel of John )

2. The same was in the beginning with God.

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Note/Comments:
( * just like in the letter of John, John says that God is light, Jesus Christ is the light of the world * )
5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Note/Comments:
( * those of unbelief are in darkness, i.e. hence, the religious phony Phariases who lived according to the law, but, did not see the light of Jesus Christ , nor believed in Him * )

And in verse 14, the bible tells us, that the word of God, became flesh, and lived among us.
The Gospel of John chapter 1 verse 14:

14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The " word " of God that became " flesh " was and is Jesus Christ.

Those who reject him, are those who are in " Darkness " John in his letter is not talking about sin here.

The bible verse that the con-men of the workers of works, and merits love to fool the sheep with:

1JOHN:
5. " This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. "

Ohh yes, another bible verse that the works based Salvationers love to trow around to justify their works, merits, keeping the law to earn their way into Heaven.

Of course ? they do not put the bible, or bible verse in it's proper context.
Once again, it shows how people can be deceived by the works based con-man decievers of works and merits.

John was writing to the church, to those who were being troubled by some people who pretended to be Christians, who crept into the church, the gnostics.
If you even bother to study your bible, you might just learn something instead of relying on your supposed " Teachers " or " Pastors "
These " anti-Christs " that the Apostle John was talking in his letter here were Gnostics.
They were spreading Gnosticism in the church and caused many to fall away.
What was their teachings ? The teaching was ? there were those who were teaching that Jesus was only a ghost, a spirit, and that Jesus never came in a actual physical body, no body, no flesh, no flesh, no atonement for sins... It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
Yes, many true believers were being trouble by these gnostic heritic teachings.
The Apostle John had to set them straight and go over what they truly believed in.
John even told them in his letter to " Test the spirits " to see if they are whether from God or not.
The Apostle John called these Gnostics " anti-Christ " because they did not believe in the physical person of Jesus Christ, and so ? if they deny he was a actual physical human ( that was both GOD and man ) then ? they can deny his death, and him being put in a tomb, and him being raised from the dead.

If you even bothered to actually read these letters of John, you would actually know what John was saying instead of learning from your supposed " teachers " or pastors " who could be only telling you what they want you to believe in.

Now, to get back to what the Apostle John really meant in this verse:

" This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness "

God is light, Jesus Christ is the light of this world.

Many people have the misconception that this verse meant, that it implies sin, i.e., hence the word " Darkness " .

John is writing to these Christians who were being troubled by these anti-christ, these gnostics who didn't believe that Jesus actually came in a physical body.

Jesus told us that if we " abide " in him, then ? he will abide in us.
John is saying here in this verse, that ? if we claim we are Christians, but, deny what the apostles have taught us, and every thing that they taught us about the SON of God, about Jesus Christ, in how he came in human flesh to die on the cross for us, then ? you are in " Darkness " , that you are believing in " another " Jesus, or thing, and not the Jesus Christ that John and the other Apostles are preaching and teaching.
If you don't abide in Jesus Christ ? then ? you are in " Darkness " .

Those who say that a Christian can lose their Salvation are doing is ?
Saying that Jesus Christ's blood is not powerful enough to save them, so they have to trust in something else to save them, or earn their Salvation.

Another thing that they do is ?

Those who trust and believe in works, is ?
If they fall, and in their minds lose their Salvation, then ?
They have to crucify Christ all over again, because in the Old Testament, the high Priest brought the sacrifice lamb to GOD for the sins of the whole nation, because their works, and keeping the law did not remove their sins.

You see ? what you are actually doing is ?
Since you believe that you can lose your Salvation, you are calling on Jesus Christ to come down every time you sin, and then ? try regain your Salvation.
The book of Hebrews tells us that Jesus Christ entered the Holy place for us as our High Priest only one time, and one time only, and one time for all time.

It's the works based Salvationers who crucify Christ afresh, and since you crucify Christ afresh every time you think you lost your Salvation, there is no more sacrifice for sin.
Go check it out, read the book of Hebrews.
You, in effect ? have trampled underfoot the son of God, Jesus Christ, and has accounted his blood as common as bulls and goats.
