Debunking a Muslim Beast Antichrist
The Prophetic Years ^ | January 10, 2009 | Don Koenig

I think believing that the Antichrist is Muslim can be a big danger and a trap because I believe the real Antichrist comes into power through the wars against Islamic fundamentalism. So those who fall into the trap of making an Islamic Beast might actually help create the platform for the Western Beast Antichrist to stand on and rise to power and take over the world as the world’s savior from Islam.

Did you get that? Those who propose an Islamic antichrist may actually be tools of the real antichrist.

Antichrist: Muslim or Infidel? Jewish or Gentile? Straight or gay? Paper or plastic?

And from this poor reader:

I saw Jack Van Impe say on tv last week that unsaved pregnant women would be taken to heaven in the Rapture to give birth to their babies. That isn’t true is it?

Jack said it, so it must be true.

Confused? We're not surprised! If this article makes any sense to you, take two aspirin and read your Bible for a couple hours. It'll go away.

The Scriptures are the best antidote for Futurist Confusion.

It is pretty straight forward, Israel will be surrounded by enemies. Israel will then sign a peace treaty with its enemies. Who are the enemies of the Jews? There are millions of people waiting to be taken off the planet that will wait, and wait, and wait some more. That is a prescription for defeat. Let me remind people that antichrist, means he who comes instead of Christ. He who would take his place. The 12th Iman will be a literal being (man) that the Muslims will worship. The other third of the world is without religion and can easily be fooled. How hard would it be to say that the Middle East IS the entire world in prophetic language?

While I make no claims to being a biblical scholar, my readings suggest that the Anti-Christ will arise during a time of great turmoil and unrest. He will succeed in “calming the storm,” insuring a place of leadership for himself. I would suggest, as nothing more than conjecture, that the rise of radical Islam could possibly be the prequel, the event that makes the appearance of the AntiChrist possible. Just look at the leadership of the West, stumbling around, mouthing PC platitudes and doing little to prevent the onslaught of Islam.

Actually, "King of Kings of Africa." Not as impressive.

Besides, he's too old. The AC has to be the same age as Jesus was, no?

It is pretty straight forward, Israel will be surrounded by enemies. Israel will then sign a peace treaty with its enemies.

Sounds like the only person that could pull off that stunt would be another Jew, no?

Who are the enemies of the Jews?

According to some folks are here, just about everyone.

There are millions of people waiting to be taken off the planet that will wait, and wait, and wait some more.

Like that Heaven's Gate cult?

That is a prescription for defeat.

Exactly. (Did you get that, RJR_Fan?)

Let me remind people that antichrist, means he who comes instead of Christ.

Actually, the Bible says that antichrist is anyone who denies the Father and the Son and anyone that denies that Christ has come in the flesh. That would include Muslims and Jews, Buddhists and Hindus.

He who would take his place. The 12th Iman will be a literal being (man) that the Muslims will worship. The other third of the world is without religion and can easily be fooled. How hard would it be to say that the Middle East IS the entire world in prophetic language?

But then you would be allegorizing the Bible, no?

You say you get this from the Bible?

I would suggest, as nothing more than conjecture, that the rise of radical Islam could possibly be the prequel, the event that makes the appearance of the AntiChrist possible.

So this could all go one for some time to come? Oh, brother.

Just look at the leadership of the West, stumbling around, mouthing PC platitudes and doing little to prevent the onslaught of Islam.

Not like the grand old days of the Crusades!! Mount up, knights!!

I am waiting for a period of great turmoil and unrest. I will succeed in "calming the storm", ensuring a place of great leadership for myself. Then I will hit it with hot chicks, play video games, eat ice cream and go to the Caribbean a lot. I will make it a law that all others shall do likewise.

I AM THE ANTICHRIST.

I think you make several good points TC, but you also fail to accept the painfully obvious.

1) Remember, the AC will create his own one world religion based upon his personal divinity. Somehow manipulating people by signs and wonders to worship him. The False Prophet will become the leader of this new faith. His sole function will be to hype and promote the 'beast' He might attempt to hijack another faith to build his upon? Any one or all of the world's great faiths could be likewise manipulated to follow him.

2) We are told that the followers of this 'beast' will cut off the heads of those who refuse to bow down and worship him. ( does this remind you of any specific group, or religion that beheads infidels as a common practice? Yes, it's the ROP, the Amish ride again! )

3) The 'beast' will claim to be the God of creation. Do you recall the climax where the AC will enter the Temple and commit the Abomination of Desolation there. He'll demand to be worshipped there. So, obviously, the 'beast' won't be Jewish.

Perhaps, he'll utilize elements of other traditions in creating his own. Of all the worlds religions islam will be the most difficult to distort. Look at what a few cartoons caused.

I don’t. There are two major branches of Islam and they don’t get along with each other.

Further the muslim 12th Imam is a clear match for the Bible’s description of the Antichrist. The attribute lists line up very, very well.

It really doesn’t matter what you think.

What matters is that some muslim nutjobs believe sincerely that an ancient “imam” has been hiding in a well for centuries and that if they create bloody chaos, he’ll come back and create a muslim caliphate in Mecca and rule over all of us.

What’s more, Jesus will be with him and together they’ll wipe out all us infidels.

That’s really what they believe.

In other words, a multitude of “anti-Christs,” in the literal sense, now populate the middle east and have really, really evil intentions toward us.

They want to start nuclear war to entice their 12th Imam to come.

So it matters what you believe about Jesus Christ, but it doesn’t really matter at all what you believe about an anti-Christ.

Because you can’t really do a thing about it, except pray and be ready to meet the Lord.
