"Well, you will not be welcome if you attempt to land Arian heretics on the Zeus colony. Hellenists only!"

Be careful, TC, KB is a man who had a misspent youth with Miss Dumpy and thus not a fellow to trifle with!

I meant to add:

Ζητο Ελλας!

The bold words are throwing off my vision. Which, in turn, reminds me that I’ve been up since three in the morning. And I still need to pre-order the new Turisas album, and see if they’re importing Moonsorrow’s latest from Finland. I’m thinking Amazon. Or, if that doesn’t work, a word in the ear of the Russian fellow at the bookstore behind Pike’s Place. He’s the one that sold me the Old Norse grammar and a couple books in the same language. $40, all out of print.

Excessive text manipulation is hard on my vision, too. I really need new glasses. Good luck getting the records. And you should go to bed, even if it is only 4:00 p.m.

How's this:

Ζήτω η Ελλάδα

I can't spell in English either!

Our Greek vocabulary is still very sporadic. I don’t think they say “Hurrah!” very much in the New Testament.

I’ve gotten tired of this anyway. Repeating variations of ‘this isn’t devil worship’ isn’t doing much good. And pointing out logical fallacies is fun, but won’t get me anywhere.

Practice for attendance at law school, perhaps. Ana Gomiz says Brian is thinking of law school when he graduates from Steubenville, which would be ... think think ... May 2012, if all goes well. Don’t know if either of those boys will ever get a job!

Well, I guess they can always join the military. Although Alan might be too old by now. I think he’s four or five years older than me.
I looked at Steubenville again after realizing how many people hate it, but it looks like I may be a little too secular-minded for it.
And I’ve just been informed that I’m a break-in boarding team member, which I didn’t know. Always nice to get surprise qualifications.

And you should go off and have a peaceful early-evening. Talk to a Russian about Finnish music or something. Email your grandmother.

That is the rallying cry Kolo will be giving as he and his hoplites try and retake the Riviera. In fact, once they hear that "Hoorah for Greece," the French just might give back Marseilles.

I pass on the fight for Marseilles, but do call me and Ms. Dump when you get near St. Tropez.

I’ve always wanted to visit Sicily. When are the Hellenes taking that back?

Steubenville has good programs in many subjects, but probably not the subjects you’ll really be interested in, should your Coast Guard career end at some point, unless you manifest a religious vocation. If you did want to be a theologian, you’d probably find some people you’d fit in with; there’s a wide range of personalities among believing Catholics!

Congrats on the new qualification ... hope you get to break in someplace.

Go to Siragusa. They never left.

Maybe. Nobody wants to tell me if I’ll get to go on actual boardings or not. Although I’ll definitely be on detainee guard and anti-terrorism watch and stuff. This is less interesting than it sounds.

I’ll keep that in mind. At this point in my life, I’d happily accept a free trip to Marshville, if I could go there without a pack of Offspring!

New Turisas CD pre-order achieved. It comes out next month, so I’ve had it sent to NC in case I’m underway. If not, you can always forward it to Seattle. If it is, I’ll pick it up when I get back.
If we don’t get underway, I’m thinking of taking leave in late March/early April. For people’s birthdays and etc.
