Accusing another poster of telling a lie is “making it personal” because it attributes motive, the intent to deceive. However, remarking a statement is false attributes no motive to the poster and is therefore not “making it personal.”
I am curious. I don’t go back and check. I rarely report abuses. When folks call me a liar etc on an almost daily basis do they get their comments removed and/or warned?

It seems dishonorable for a poster who knows the rules of this forum to habitually break them. This includes making things personal, attributing motive, etc.
