The destruction of education over the past few decades has given us adults who tolerate evil.
No, what public education has done is exactly what it was intended to do: produce a people that are compliant sheep, unable to think for themselves, dependent on government. In the absence of people who can think for themselves, it's no surprise that depravity is able to flourish.

Wrong! Collectivist government education has never been broken. It is achieving its goal EXACTLY as planned by the progressives in the mid-1800s to early 1900s!

By my grandmother's day, the schools were SECULAR with a sprinkle of prayer. It was my grandmother and father's generation ( a mere one to two generations after collectivist government schooling) that gave us Franklin D. Roosevelt!
