Don't take them too seriously, just people that don't get around much. In Catholic Churches we have all nationalities, and as you must know, having lived in Boston, the Jews don't have the market cornered on noses.
I had an uncle that had a humongous nose. At a big family reunion, I told all the little children that when they grew up they would all have noses like my uncle. They spent the whole night just staring at my uncle in astonishment and fear. My family has noses, but my uncle was the king.
I lived in Miami Beach and went to a public school K-12 in schools that were 80% Jews. I don't remember that many big noses, but I would see them in the older people in the streets. It seems to be an age problem. Maybe it's God sent, to keep parents unattractive to the home wreckers.
You make me laugh with the big noses! Myself, my husband and both my girls have small noses (or so we’ve been told) however, my younger daughter LOVES big noses and prefers to date guys with very big noses. It’s her favorite feature on a man. So, she’d be happy to hear that she was going to grow up with a big nose!
