You should teach your child to say that the Jews didn’t kill Jesus, but that SIN did.
You should teach your child to say that the Jews didnt kill Jesus, but that SIN did.
So you recommend breaking the Ninth Commandment. Why not? (sigh)
Who are the vinedressers in Mark 12? (Clue: Matt 23:30-39) Who were the people who demanded "His blood be on us, and on our children!" (Matthew 27:25) Who was Steven speaking of in Acts 7:52 "Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which sheweed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been no the betrayers and murderers Who was Paul speaking of in 1 Thess 2:15 "who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God"
Also, the Christology is quite a bit off on the "SIN killed Christ" charge. God is not nor has God ever been obligated to serve man. Jesus Christ being perfect was never under the penalty of sin, and thus was never under the penalty or threat of death. Rather, in John 10:15, we read that in obedience to the Father, our LORD voluntarily laid down His life.
So according to the Scriptures, the Jews are charged with the murder of Jesus Christ, and it was Obedience and Love that put Him there. Very much the opposite in which you prefer to be told.
