He is not condemning homosexuals for BEING homosexual, he is condemning them relenting to their sinful desires.
This is no different than a man being a man ... and thus being attracted to other women besides his wife... being naturally attracted is.... natural. ACTING on that attraction... or even lingering on the thought of someone besides your spouse sexually is what is wrong.
However, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their homosexuality. Homosexuality is listed among the sins of those who will not inherit the kingdom. Having said that, this is the only sin for which God destroyed 2 cities.
Having said that, if people truly love, then they will speak the truth. It does no one any favor to let them continue to believe that any sin they indulge in, is acceptable to God. That includes adultery, fornication, gluttony, and all that the Bible lists as sin.
