I found the same with an Iranian Muslim roommate during the middle seventies. He was ready to accept Christ as his savior, but was more concerned that he would be an outcast from his family, friends, and government if he converted (Islam is not just a religion, it is their entire existence). Fortunately since then many have come to Christ in Iran (see book Welcome to the Revolution).
