....the [Marriot] board, in what appears to be a transparent attempt to boost Mitt's chances in 2012, has decided to drop porn from its new properties, and intends to phase out porn in existing hotels starting in 2013. That's a convenient date — if Romney fails in his White House bid, the board can phase it right back in.

I miss the ‘wankers for Mitt’ banner ads.

So Romney is trying to capitalize off of what was a business decision.

Marriott’s just tired of writing-off all those porn movies that got charged to rooms by accident when someone sat on the remote control. Besides, they’ll have internet porn.

I won’t be voting for Mitt in the primaries, but if he’s the reason Marriot dropped porn, then hallelujah! God works in mysterious ways.

I don’t see the Romny connection to Marriot’s decision. How do Marriot’s actions benefit Romney? I see no reason to think that those voters who like what Marriot did are going to link te decision to Romney.

single-handedly legalizing homosexual marriage in Massachusetts

I hold no brief for Romney, largely for these sorts of liberalities and flipflops, but I can't go THAT far. I thought the state supreme court did this one??

Like so much corporate posturing, this is really a no-brainer. The Mormons on the board can take credit for acting more ‘Christian-like’ by dumping a service that has been outstripped in popularity by internet pornography. I would be willing to bet that in their main-brand chains, they will retain their $10/day (or higher) internet access fees, thereby retaining an ancillary service that can be used for BOTH business and pleasure.

The odd thing is that they aren’t doing it right away and making a big splash now; it may be that contracts exist with the provider that cannot easily be exited. The point about Mittens nomination failure causing them to recant may also be a salient one.

Mitt's problem is not that he's a Mormon; it's that he's not Mormon enough. Bottom line: Romney has no credibility on social issues.

And after the great success of RomneyCare, no fiscal credibility either.

A very well rounded HYPOCRITE !
