39 Discouraged by the VAST amount of information that had to be sifted thru; the PI went away in a hopeless mood.

To be fair to PD, he only expects the investigator -- to get the "milky" answers he needs -- to go to one of his links & perform the equivalency of...

Locating a hospitable Mormon dairy farmer...
...Driving to that dairy farm in the middle of a Midwest winter...
...Arriving @ 4 a.m. in the a.m...
...Either hand-milk -- or, with a few of PD's links, robotically milk (harvest) all the cows...[doesn't matter to PD which you do...he may prefer the impersonal "bot" style because it comes "natural" to him]...
...Merge the milk into one storage container...
...Transport the milk...
...Conduct lab testing of the milk...[of course, with such Mormon "milk" if the "King James Version" of the lab report doesn't cut the mustard, the local Mormon head hauncho just writes a "Joe Blow Translation" (JBT) of it to give it the official spin]
...Pump the milk into storage silos...
...Pasteurize it...
...Homogenize it...
...Have it undergo further processing (micro-filtration)...
...And then consume it...
...Digest it to see if it produces the magical "burning bosom" effect...
...And then see if LONG term it produces one of those forced testimonies you might hear at a Mormon monthly testimony meetin'...

But, hey, other than that, at least PD's links take you to a fair # of unofficial dairy associations in various areas.

P.S. Those unofficial Mormon dairy farmers are strictly told NOT to breath a word about how they slaughter those cows and the actual Mormon "meat" it produces...somethin' 'bout protectin' their "sacred cows" & rumors of some kind of "M.A.D."* disease those "Mormon gospel cows" are said to be producin'.

* M.A.D. = Mormon After Death

In other words antis really do not recognized the whole Bible!

No, Sweetheart; it is YOUR religion's FOUNDERS that did NOT recognize the BIBLE; or even the DEMONIC Book of MORMON!

TRUTH IGNORED

Smith, Young, Taylor, Pratt, Snow, Kimball Woodruff ...

 1 Timothy 3:2-3
 2.  Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
 3.  not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.

1 Timothy 3:12
A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.

 Titus 1:6
An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.

BEHOLD!!!!  The Restorative Power  of the Book of Mormon!!

THE BOOK OF JACOB
THE BROTHER OF NEPHI
CHAPTER 2

24 Behold, David and Solomon truly had many wives and concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord.
25 Wherefore, thus saith the Lord, I have led this people forth out of the land of Jerusalem, by the power of mine arm, that I might raise up unto me a righteous branch from the fruit of the loins of Joseph.
26 Wherefore, I the Lord God will not suffer that this people shall do like unto them of old.
  27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none;
28 For I, the Lord God, delight in the chastity of women. And whoredoms are an abomination before me; thus saith the Lord of Hosts.
29 Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the Lord of Hosts, or cursed be the land for their sakes.
30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.
31 For behold, I, the Lord, have seen the sorrow, and heard the mourning of the daughters of my people in the land of Jerusalem, yea, and in all the lands of my people, because of the wickedness and abominations of their husbands.
32 And I will not suffer, saith the Lord of Hosts, that the cries of the fair daughters of this people, which I have led out of the land of Jerusalem, shall come up unto me against the men of my people, saith the Lord of Hosts.

There is always a word play or they divert from the subject.

Sadly for RESTORNU and Paragon Defender, virtually everything they write about Flying Inman behavior cannot be factually proven.
They are quite the dilettante, pointing the way to a plethora of topics.
When they veers to his obsession, the need to assassinate the character, background and education of Christians,
perhaps their time would be better spent actually studying MORMON history and teachings.

They is not atypical of today’s MORMON apologists who operate with the following code:

When in doubt, deflect the inquiry, and if the facts don’t fit the story, don’t mention them. <

No; I didn't ping them for they have NOTHING to say.)

Had Jesus given the full ordinance like here it would be endless hoots and howls!

I thought that the MORMON god DID give 'full ordinance' about POLYGAMY in D&C 132!!??

Yet the Spineless Weasels that lead the 'church' based in Salt Lake City have thrown their OWN 'god' under the bus in favor of mere 'statehood'.

What apostates these trembling sisters are!

Has anyone noticed that the ANTI-Mormons use MORE Official MORMON Sources than PD does!!

(reference) Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in HEAVEN. So all of those “requirements” the mormons want you to meet in order to attain the celestial kingdom and to be able to dwell with God are superfluous. God has already said you will not be married in heaven.

Has any mormon at Free Republic ever address this?

**** Resty you answered:

Surely you jest those whom Jesus address do not believe in the ordinance of the Lord and like the antis on FR Jesus address only the portion they were willing to accept!

Had Jesus given the full ordinance like here it would be endless hoots and howls!

Would you care to address the question rather than implying Jesus doesn't tell the truth.

You know, I’m curious about something. Usually a post such as this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/2661622/posts?page=283#283 which is the source of the original citations/questions asked, would have drawn the typical vitriolic reaction/response of “been addressed before”, “you’re evil and don’t know what you’re talking about”, etc..

Curious thing though, nothing.

How can Truth be answered in the negative? Other than just bomb throwing, so you are correct why haven’t they responded.

Their world would shatter if they accept the truth that Mormonism is false/scam. That's why you see the personal attacks.

"Their world would shatter if they accept the truth that Mormonism is false/scam. That's why you see the personal attacks."

Maybe, but a few of us here have demonstrated that it doesn't have to be so. I believe the LdS church is equally responsible for the vitriolic response as much as they are. They are the ones doing the typing, but I believe the church sets them up. Doesn't prepare them. The "church" admonishes the average member to stay away from anything that is not church related or does not promote a positive image of the church. So when a lot of the salacious information about JS, church doctrine, theology, teachings, etc. is exposed, it creates internal conflict within many.

I can't recall if my "attacks" were as personal when I was on that side of the aisle, but I'm sure they weren't always cordial in nature either.

Either way, there is life after mormonism. A wonderful life of following after Christ.

I agree. I don't understand why they don't resolve that inner conflict and explore the truth of the matter instead of holding onto a crumbling ideology?

Either the whole world is in on a conspiracy or the Mormon church is? Which has more to lose if the truth is known? If you were to look at it logically, you would say the Mormon church. They control the information that is given to its members. They hold the power to expel disbelievers and they promote group think.

It would be hard to believe that the whole world would conspire to hide evidence of the three great civilizations claimed in the Book of Mormon or lie about the DNA evidence of the Native Americans.. The Mormon Church does not take a stand on where the cities of the Nephites were. Mormons believe only what is given to them, despite the lack of evidence yet they dismiss the Bible because of so called 'errors'.

I wonder at what point do Mormons say to themselves, " I can't do this anymore? The truth shouldn't be this hard to defend. "

Either way, there is life after mormonism. A wonderful life of following after Christ.

Very true.

Either way, there is life after mormonism. A wonderful life of following after Christ.

I appreciate your comments, Szonian.

So on the mark.

But they've also inspired me to try to nail down, bit by bit, what that means: "following after Christ"

So, now & then, I'm going to try to unpack that...bit by bit.

Tonight, I'd like us to look under the hood & ask: How much do we talk directly to Jesus?

I know it can be easy to get on liberals' cases for chasing prayer out of schools; but when I view how little praying we Christians have done as individuals and small groups on secular campuses, I think we as followers of Jesus have been responsible for pre-empting more of prayer out of schools than any of the liberals!

Likewise, I know I have harped upon Mormons for not praying directly to Jesus -- only to Heavenly Father (said in the Name of Jesus). But if I'm not fully engaged myself in taking advantage of this wonderful relational privilege, then my finger-pointing is an empty barrage, and I become at-risk to being reduced to a "paper (keyboard) Christian."

"So, Lord Jesus, please forgive us -- forgive me -- for not conversing more directly with You. Don't let us only emulate a crisis prayer ascending directly to You -- like Stephen in the book of Acts (7:59), but let us know You direct around the clock -- and know you indirectly as well through Your written Word, the Bible. In Your Name as the One True Solo God we pray to, Come, Lord, Jesus! Maranatha!"

The bottom line here is at some point we all need to look at what we say is our "Scripture" and ask, "Do I believe this?" "Is this showing through in my daily life?"

And so to me following Jesus is at times lifting direct prayers in times of crisis to Jesus, like Stephen did in Acts. And if I were a Mormon, I would open up my Book of Mormon and read 3 Nephi 19:6-26...and ask, if these Nephite disciples repeatedly/directly prayed to Jesus, why can't I?
