Which idiot or pathological liar told you Catholics do not worship God, but worship "everybody else"? They had to be a moron of biblical proportions.
Most of the idiots just become ex-Catholics.
Praying to God, using the customs of one’s culture, is not the same as praying to a false god, at least for Catholics.
That said, when I wrote about it elsewhere, two Native Americans wrote comments saying he shouldn’t have been picked, since his tribe are essentially assimilated Indians from Mexico, and he is half Mexican, not full blooded Yaqui.
Shelton should be fired. He wasn’t thinking about the victims or their loved ones at all; it was all about being pc. It calls into question his judgment and bias when making other decisions for the university.
How hard would it have been to have a short prayer said by the appropriate clergy? This man wasn’t even an official of the religion he used. It was a slap-dash solution that was insulting to those concerned.
