Not really.
Catholics believe that we ask those in heaven to pray with us for God’s intercession.
Protestants believe that we ask those on Earth to pray with us for God’s intercession.
Just as Protestants don’t believe that another soul can make a miracle, only God, so Catholics do not believe that those who are living eternally in heaven can make a miracle, only God.
We both believe that when two are joined together it is powerful. Catholics just utilize those who have gone before us.
