Yes, but you're leaving out a few important steps.
Think - Satan knows damn well who Jesus is, that He is Lord God, that God the Father raised Him from the dead and He is now seated at God's right hand.
Lets' stick with Romans. Have you ever heard of the "Roman Road"? We have to realize what a filthy sinner we are, how much God despises sin, the consequences of even ONE sin, and our certain fate. We have to admit it! Then realize there's not one damn thing we can do about it - we are dead.
