I think she walked into the wrong room by accident.
Excellent. I nominate this comment for Post of the Day.
May I use it as a tagline if it isn't too long?
Whoaa! Who are you and what have you done with Resty?
:-)
That’s a really stupid tagline Resty, LOL!
Me neither Nana. Not one.
It’s ok to just come out and say, “No He’s not”
As far as I can tell, Mormons don't really have any need for Jesus. He's done His work, and has opened the path to resurrection by going first.
Now it's up to them. They can just kinda be fairly good people, and they'll get to hang out with Jesus in the middle kingdom of heaven. I guess he's like their uncle or something.
If they are really good they become his equal and can hang out with him and his dad in the celestial kingdom. They'll be homies, bros.
If they are awesome, they get to move out and say, "Adios Hay-zeus, smell ya later Dad! I'll write when I get my new inter-steller address!"
You are on a roll :-)
Without revealing too much about my sordid past, sounds just like college to me :-)
Post of the week, in my book.

t minus four; Would you still be free and saved if you walked away from Mormonism today?
Very astute question, and I await an answer. I doubt very much if it will be a "yes" or "no" answer though.
LOL!!!
The thinking has already been done for him.....

Thank you for your opinion but I will continue to strive and doing my Heavenly Father and His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ Will.
THE FIRST EPISTLE OF PAUL THE APOSTLE TO THE CORINTHIANS
CHAPTER 13
Paul extols the high status of charityCharity, a pure love, excels and exceeds almost all else.
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
John 14
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 13
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 5:
39 ¶ Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Acts 17:
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Jacob 7:
23 And it came to pass that peace and the love of God was restored again among the people; and they searched the scriptures, and hearkened no more to the words of this wicked man.
May the sweet Spirit of the Lord find you!
Resty, I just wanted to say that when Mr. Robinson gets tired of you insulting and patronizing him and he just quietly vaporizes you, I’ll miss you. I’ve been an Inmam for just about a year now and you’ve made it so interesting and worthwhile. Wish I knew how to keep in touch with you.
