Did South Park lie?
Thank you Alex.
I had wondered about this and had considered calling a friend or two about this as the only thing I ever heard celebrated during these days is the birth of Jesus Christ.
This, I think, clears up that question.
Merry Christmas.
However I will re-watch the Joseph Smith episode of South Park in your honor.
'Direct experience ... I guess that's why Joe Smith created all those blasphemies regarding Jesus. Yeah, direct experience ... with the father of lies. A con job as transparent as Mormonism replete with hereies contradicting the Tanakh and New Testament could not flourish for so long without demonic assistance.
May the blessings of Christmas bring you and your family glad tidings and joy today and always.
This ridiculous cult needs to retire.
I had much prefer to “Preach Christ and Him crucified!” We know the preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish; but it is the power of God unto salvation to them that believe.” (1 Corinthians 1:18)
Acts 4:12 says: “Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name given among men whereby ye must be saved.”
“For He (God) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that they might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit unto your hearts crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 4:4-7)

Joseph Smith surely had a way with the ladies.
I believe in Joseph’s Myth.
It's 1997...2nd-to-last Lds "prophet" (Gordon Hinckley) has an opportunity to write a piece in the Lds church official mag, the Ensign, for its December issue. See A Season For Gratitude
Sentence 1: Talks about a "season for giving".
Sentence 2: Whose birth does Hinckley zero in on -- Jesus Christ or Joseph Smith? (If you didn't answer the latter, then you're probably not a Latter-day Saint)
Sentence 3 Hinckley talks about someone for whom "How great indeed is our debt to him." Jesus Christ? (Wrong again...sorry...Joseph Smith is the correct answer)
Sentence 4: Time now to move on to the birth of Christ in Bethlehem? (Sorry...Hinckley focuses on the birth of Smith in Vermont)...Well, does he at least mention the cross on Calvary? (Sorry...Hinckley talks about Illinois, where Smith died)
Sentence 5: "It was he who brought us a true knowledge of God, the Eternal Father..." Smith is surely now talking about Jesus, right? (Sorry...again...Joseph Smith...although he does finally get around to mentioning Jesus)
All in all...in the first 20 sentences of what Hinckley wrote, he mentions Joseph Smith (or personal pronouns like he, him, his) 23 times. Jesus Christ? Oh, he gets three mentions -- all in association with directing Joseph Smith!!!
Surely Hinckley's replacement, Thomas Monson, wasn't making the same mistake two years ago when he was presented with an advance CD re: 'Praise to the Man' -- the hymn/carol written by W.W. Phelps to be sung to Joseph Smith. What does Monson declare? ...at this season, he's happy that our thoughts can be drawn to Joseph Smith. "He gave us everything."

Hmmm.....
More propaganda from the piece: Contrary to the claims of our more extreme critics, Latter-day Saints don't ...sing "Smithmas" carols...
Sure they do.
One is called "Praise to the Man" -- and it's in the Mormon hymnal -- a hymn Mormons sing to Joseph Smith! Now Mormons don't call the hymn a "carol" -- but sung this time of year to someone Mormons believe is currently/literally a "god" -- yes, it qualifies as a "carol."
For more info on this Joseph Smith-sung-to carol, see:

Okay, I'll play: False Prophet!. Two words is pretty restrictive but I can provide a lot more.
The mere fact that Mormons would even consider something like this tells you how spiritually lost they really are. It is far more subtle but it is exactly the same mindset as the Muslims who put up the "Twelve Days of Christmas" billboards in the UK. Anything which attempts to take away from the glory of Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross is evil.
Jesus is risen! Smith is still in his grave.
