Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The Book of Proverbs
Chapter 5

The Peril of Adultery

1. My son, pay attention to my wisdom;
Lend your ear to my understanding,
2. That you may preserve discretion,
And your lips may keep knowledge.
3. For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,
And her mouth is smoother than oil;
4. But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword.
5. Her feet go down to death,
Her steps lay hold of hell.
6. Lest you ponder her path of life—
Her ways are unstable;
You do not know them.
7. Therefore hear me now, my children,
And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
8. Remove your way far from her,
And do not go near the door of her house,
9. Lest you give your honor to others,
And your years to the cruel one;
10. Lest aliens be filled with your wealth,
And your labors go to the house of a foreigner;
11. And you mourn at last,
When your flesh and your body are consumed,
12. And say:

“ How I have hated instruction,
And my heart despised correction!
13. I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers,
Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!
14. I was on the verge of total ruin,
In the midst of the assembly and congregation.”
15. Drink water from your own cistern,
And running water from your own well.
16. Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,
Streams of water in the streets?
17. Let them be only your own,
And not for strangers with you.
18. Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with the wife of your youth.
19. As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be enraptured with her love.
20. For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman,
And be embraced in the arms of a seductress?
21. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD,
And He ponders all his paths.
22. His own iniquities entrap the wicked man,
And he is caught in the cords of his sin.
23. He shall die for lack of instruction,
And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Holy and Sanctified is Your Most Wonderful Name!
You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The Most High!
You Alone Are The One True God Of The Universe,
You Are The Ancient Of Days,
LORD of Hosts,
and Rock of All Ages,
Our Creator,
You Have Made Us,
and All That Is.
You Are The Same Yesterday,
Today, and Forever.
Your Loving Kindness Is from Everlasting To Everlasting.
Even When We Are Unfaithful,
You Are Always Faithful.

Thank You, Father For Your Infinite Wisdom
Regarding Marriage and Adultery.
You Have Given us The perfect Design For The Human Family,
And it WORKS!
Protect Marriage in Our Country.
Defend Your Holy Institution from all who would attack it,
Demean or Degrade it,
Change its Definition,
Abuse it or Belittle it.
For YOU have Established Marriage between One Man and One Woman from the Very Beginning.
Who are we to tamper with it?

Abba, You Have Set Aside a People For Yourself,
To be Custodians of Your Word,
To Be The Bearers of Your Message,
And To Dwell in The land You Have Given to Them.
We Pray for Our Own Leaders in America,
May They Speak Comfort to Jerusalem.
May We NOT be Numbered Among Israel's Enemies, God Forbid!
We Pray For The American People,
May They NOT be Deceived by the Media.
May Their Eyes be Opened with regard to God's People Israel.

We pray for an END to Lies,
Slander, Blood Libel, Propaganda,
and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For AN End to Slavery,
Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews, In Bondage in Hostile lands,

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
so that All Faiths may visit them.
May ANYTHING That Does not Glorify YOU be REMOVED.
We Pray For Bibi Netayahu,
and the Leaders of Our Own Beloved USA,
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

God the Avenger of the Righteous

1 O Lord, you God of vengeance,

my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.
18 When I thought, ‘My foot is slipping’,
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
19 When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul.
20 Can wicked rulers be allied with you,
those who contrive mischief by statute?
21 They band together against the life of the righteous,
and condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the Lord has become my stronghold,
and my God the rock of my refuge.
23 He will repay them for their iniquity
and wipe them out for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will wipe them out.

Heavenly Father may you continue to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation, may you smash every crooked deed they try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to the nations as you did this time in history:

Father God, open our eyes and ears and mind to the Words of instruction Thou has given man. Thank Thee, for Thy goodness, mercy, compassion, and love. God is great, help us follow Thy Word in obedience. Father, we call for the Peace of Israel, Jerusalem, keep them in the hollow of Thy hand and bless their land and the Holy sacred City, and all the persecuted believers, and America. Bind and remove the evil intended for Israel and America and its people today. Amen.
