But here we are again...talking about Mary rather than on what she said of God...it always goes back to Mary.. because catholics are so entrenched with teachings about her that they cannot discern Gods rightful place.

The same thing of Christ’s birth...all catholics speak of or discuss if or not she was a virgin...was she this or that. His birth is about Jesus Christ but catholics tack that onto all their “other” saints and practices before them in order to justify their behavior...which is not what God intructs. All POWER and all things were given to Christ and He alone.

That one verse she relates to herself is really very weak to all the Glory she was giving to God...you should do likewise and just forgo expecting Mary to do anything for you...it was not a place of power given to her by God...and frankly I am glad after His birth we hear no more of Mary...God knew mens hearts would attempt to upsurp His son thru her...Even in the upper room , with Mary present and power was given to the deciples...she was not included...so why catholics believe otherwise lays fully on the alter of catholic church teachings...because it keeps it’s members otherwise occupied from Christ himself and makes them dependant on it’s leadership and filling the coffers of the catholic church leaderships pockets.

“..... because catholics are so entrenched with teachings about her that they cannot discern Gods rightful place.”

Blah, blah, blah.

So much for the mote in my eye, how is that Beam of yours doing? What denomination are you claiming as the One True Faith? Or like so many, are you afraid to name the sect you adhere to?

“...frankly I am glad after His birth we hear no more of Mary.”

Sorry to disappoint you, but we DO hear more of Mary after Jesus’ birth. Are you forgetting the finding of the Child in the temple, and the wedding feast at Cana?
We also hear of her during the Lord's Passion, when she is standing at the foot of the cross and Jesus entrusts her to the care of John.

John, Chapter 19:
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
