Humans are ALL known to err. The problem I have with Protestantism is the defacto sixth Sola, "Sola Puto" (ut quod ego unus sumo ut puto) doctrine which means "that which I alone choose to believe". It recognizes the error in all others but retains for itself some special ability to personally infallibly interpret Scripture while denying that ability to Catholics.
There are 5 solas:
Sola Scripturaby Scripture alone
Sola Gratiaby grace alone
Sola Fideby faith alone
Solo Christoby Christ alone
Soli Deo Gloriaglory to God alone
I do not have any special ability to interpret scripture and I do not believe any human has/had an infallible ability to interpret scripture.
I believe you have me confused with a Catholic, for they believe their Pope is infallible and the only reliable source for interpretation.
God Bless
