One, we don’t pray TO Mary, we ask her to pray for us.

Two, 1 Cor 3:13-7 explicitly says that if our works prove true to God, then we will be rewarded in heaven. If you had read the passage you would have understood what I was referring too.

“interceed... as a mediator”

Why would she intercede as a mediator when she can intercede as an intercessor. The terms do not mean the same thing.

“You can be assured replacing Christ with Mary will most assuredly NOT be rewarded”

Of course not, but dishonouring his mother will not be rewarded either. She is due the honour she is deserved.

“when it all should go to Christ..just as He asked”

Why is it always either/or? Why can’t it be both? We are commanded by Christ to pray for one another.

That's YOUR understanding - and HIS KINGDOM doesn't operate according to man's understanding.

Find out in Scripture who JESUS says his mother and brothers are. It's HIS KINGDOM, worldly understanding does not apply in HIS KINGDOM.

We are commanded to pray for one another. Do you also remember how Jesus taught the disciples to pray??

“...our Father”

We are also taught by scripture, by Jesus, that we are to ask in His name. The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. The Triune God.

Where’s the command to pray to anyone else? Mary can’t hear you. St. So-and-So can’t hear you—only God is omniscient and omnipresent.

Why waste time praying to Mary (and you are praying, by the way—how else could you claim she hears you) when it’s God who demands we pray to and worship him alone ?

narses provided the smoking gun, Ben. This is quoted from narses’ post:

Hear all our prayers, O Mother, [Blasphemously usurping God's role]
and grant them all. [Hideously blasphemous God-like powers]
We are all your children: [blasphemously usurping God-like parenthood]
Grant the prayers of [YOUR] children.”[blasphemously usurping God-like prayer-granting powers]

1. “hear all our prayers....” Sounds pretty straightforward to me.

2. “We are all your children: Grant the prayers of your children.”

We are HER children? HER CHILDREN? We are God’s children and His ALONE.

Now... You were saying something about not praying to Mary??

You can be sure, there will ALWAYS [Until Jesus returns] be sufficient weasel words in the Vatican DAFFYNITIONARY, for RC's to rationalize the horrific idolatries, blasphemies and heresies in Mary's name.
.
As a psychologist, the level of utter DENIAL involved is rivaled only, in my experience, by decades long addicted alcoholics. Evidently addictionis to idolatry, blasphemy etc. are every bit as demonized and tough to crack.
