narses:

“2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Slowly Dean - who was the women referred to in the above passage from Luke? Mary. Who was the “son”? Our Lord Jesus Christ. His Title? King of Kings. Hers? The Mother of the King of Kings. Unless you deny the Trinity that is?”

Now, narses — you take it slowly and re-read: where in that verse is Mary called Mother of God? It DOES say that Jesus was her FIRSTBORN son (maybe other children?? Kinda monkeywrenches some more of the RCC’s falsehoods, eh?). Jesus is God Incarnate, yes — but Mary can’t be the mother of God because God has no beginning; she IS the mother of Jesus. Fallen, sinful Mary; used by God the Father to bear God the Son. I have no problem with the Trinity.

So, once again: where in Scripture is Mary referred to as the Mother of God?

Dean, er, Neal, er Hoss ( :D)

That you cannot see is not me problem.

You admit, “...she IS the mother of Jesus.”

Then you fall apart.

You claim, “I have no problem with the Trinity.” But your words belie that claim.

2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
