Braunschweig Dominicans Out of Control Promote Homosexuality on Website

(kreuz.net) Homo-Dominicans in Branschweig have removed the worst references to unnatural offers of seducation from their website after substantial protests.

Till yesterday the propaganda material as well as "homosexual-groups" and homo-networks were openly promoted -- "in place of spreading Gospel and the teaching of the Catholic Church as well as informing about their precautions for the prevention of sexual abuse" -- as the protestant Website 'medrum.de" explained it.

Okay. THAT's embarrassing. Time for a little mandamus from the Master of the Order of Preachers. This if going to be worth following.

Aaaaw, catholiban infighting. Pass the popcorn.

But seriously, kreuz.net (german for cross) is a really weird page. In other news on the same site:

Cologne light rail crashes into car three days after Cardinal test-drives it. Didn't use proper latin blessings and holy water.

Not everything under Saddam was fine - but everything was better. US a thug state - there was no islamic terrorism in the region before Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Oh, outside of prayer and fasting there's not much I can do. Most first orders think we third orders are a joke -- and they're probably right! It's so interesting: the US Dominicans which I know (maybe not a representative sample), especially the younger ones are bulldogs of orthodoxy. Not so much agressive as - when they bite they do not let go.

And I have just had the very great pleasure of getting to know a Polish Dominican, and he seems an excellent theologian, teacher, and preacher -- very much in the "personalist" school of thought -- but still, it's like a kind of academic impatience with heterodoxy -- like, "Don't waste my time with that stuff."

But to read of these yahoos. As I said, embarrassing. I do hope the new master kicks some appropriate behinds.

There’s almost nothing we can do alone, but together, people you know, people I know, there can be changes made, new vocations forged and getting rid of the bad.

Of course, prayer is always the key. One thing I’ve found is that however isolated and powerless we might feel, we’re never alone and I think your testimony here makes that clear.

Personalism is a very dangerous philosophical outlook. We really need to get back to the basics.

Okay. THAT's a stimulating statement, pregnant with promise and threat.

You wanna say more? I'd be interested.

Basically what Father McLucas said about it, that it begins its point of philosophical reflection on man rather than on God. It’s a false start any way you cut it.
