THIS is crazy. While I have my own opinion about the temple, the REASON the pretty golden dome should be destroyed is because it is an absolute defilement and an abomination.
I repeat. THIS is crazy.
Evidently, you don’t even believe your own scripture which clearly states that G-d will occupy Jerusalem and nowhere, but nowhere, does it say a darn thing about the Lord living in a pretty church.

Many of the arguments made have been promoted by Muslims for years.
In fact, some of it is right out of their propaganda.

Well, first of all, the Dome is very pretty, and would make a nice Church some day.
LOL. Tit for tat -- only fair, given what the Muhamadeans did the the Hagia Sophia.
Why the Dome-of-the-Rock is Better than a Re-Built Temple
Oh, this should be fun.

Waste of time and words. Just wait a little longer and then you can eat your words and swallow your theological pride. That assumes you will not merely explain away physical Temple to HaShem and the reigning King Messiah in Jerusalem as mere metaphors...
A bigger question would be, when it all comes to pass, will you love your theology more than the truth of what you can see with your eyes? If the past 60 years is any evidence, there isn't a lot of hope for your theological types.

Anyone who seriously thinks that God will allow the Dome Mosque stand in Jerusalem, His beloved city, has no concept of the God they purport to serve.
All of those who think that all of prophecy has been fulfilled should answer the question of the following prophecy.
Isaiah 17: 1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
When in history has Damascus been destroyed?

God let the Mohamedins occupy the Temple Mount only to keep it out of the hands of Christians until Jews were ready to repossess it.

There is also the possibility that we are arguing over the wrong spot that the former temples were built.
Here is an argument for placing the historical position in the City of David south of the presently named Temple Mount. I do not know if it is true but it is a proposition that should not be dismissed out of hand.

I have been inside the Dome of the Rock. The rock is a very sacred thing, one can feel that just by being there. I can't say the same thing about the structure built on top of it. There is a grand future to that location in God's plans. I don't believe the mosque built on top will be part of His designs.
All in God's time.

Are you nuts? Even a casual view of the scriptures demonstrate that the Temple mount is the proper location for Israel’s Temple.
To: topcat54
I don't care where the Third Temple is built. But I do long for the day when that pagan Muslim abomination Dome is blown up, burned down, or swallowed by the Earth.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Theological Antizionists (and in the case of this group liars about the Talmud) are cowards. The people have such little faith in Jesus and their Bible that they fear and hate Israel and Jews. Pathetic losers.

So what is the wailing wall? I was told it was the outer courtyard of the temple - if so, it is at the site of the Dome.

Like tearing down Saint Paul’s Cathedral to erect Stonehenge.
Islam may have come after Christianity but it is so less civilized and so much more savage—heck, even more primitive and barbaric than the Druids of Stonehenge.
