So you believe in an irrational, nonsensical God? You have to if you think plants came before the Sun and Moon. The original Hebrew states they appeared, not created, after, which also happens to agree with the natural record. This is one of the inconvienent truths. You would think more people would question the nonsensical notion of plants before the Sun. Its a prime YEC contradiction. And those other things fit in the OEC timeline. I thought you said you used to be a OEC? I can pick up any OEC book and see what you are saying isnt true.
The Hebrew says va-ya’as (1:16) which means “and He made.”
‘Appeared’ would use the root ra’ah, not asah.
There’s nothing nonsensical about plants before the sun because there was light from the first day.
Now, there is an aspect of plants that was not created until the 6th day and that’s the thorns and thistles. They were formed as a result of Adam’s sin but it would be hard for a OEC’er to explain why we would find fossilized thorns from a time long before the creation of man.
‘asa translated as “made” which is in the form of a completed action. Past tense. Nice try though. Funny, don’t see thorns and thistles in my Bible. Another classic YEC insertion.

P.S. Where’s this msytery light coming from? Lots of leaps in logic in the YEC view. Would God be so obtuse?
