No. I don't think the words of Jesus are fatuous, etc. I think your interpretation of them is fatuous and trivial. Jesus was telling us how to relate to God and to man. He was not telling us simply not to use a certain word. BTW: Have you plucked out your eyes and cut off your hands yet? No?
