That’s too convoluted.

Why can’t the Catholic church keep it simple and go right to the Father as Jesus told us to and taught us to in the Lord’s Prayer?

“Why can’t the Catholic church keep it simple and go right to the Father as Jesus told us to and taught us to in the Lord’s Prayer?”

In fact, the Holy Catholic Church does exactly that, every day, all around the world. It does that in the Sacrifice of the Mass, the Holy Eucharist. And every human being, by accepting Christ and by being in a State of Grace can come to Our Father, in Person, in the Flesh at that Mass. Truly an extraordinary Miracle, repeated daily in every nation and for the last 2,000+ years.

This is part of what confuses protestants and other heretics, since they fail to accept God’s simple Word and do not have the sublime Glory of this ultimate act of Worship, they see the many prayers of the Church in a false light. But when the Truth reaches them in all of the great beauty that Truth holds, then they come Home to Rome.

May the Blessing of Our Lord fall on all of us this wonderful season of Advent, as we all prepare to receive the King of Kings into our homes, our lives and our hearts.

We do. Frequently. But the bible tells us that our prayers are more powerful when joined in unison.
