If one can not articulate the Gospel how does one know that a street preacher is just doing an "ignorant spew"

Seems to me the definition of "spiritual ignorance" is not knowing what the gospel we are commanded to spread is

I say God Bless those street preachers. No one knows how many people walk by and hear The Gospel for the first time. They may not become Christians right then and there, but the seed is planted.

My FIL was a lifelong church going EO/RC and it wasn't until he started coming to church with us in his last couple years of life that he heard THE GOSPEL and was saved. We can't assume people know it and believe it.
