Any man who thinks it is ok to have multiple wives, is in sin. David, Solomon, etc., were in sin as well.

Exactly. When the LDS defend polygamy they usually turn to the OT to ‘prove’ it is ok with God. But it wasn’t ok then either.
Keep in mind the Mormon Church did not allow black membership until the 1960’s.
