Not unknowingly at all. Most are proud of that doctrine. I used to be Mormon. However, the caveat is that they believe they are ‘spirit brothers’ not just to each other, but to all of us. They don’t get that angels and men are different creatures. I thank God every single day that He rescued me from Mormonism and brought me into the arms of the Christ of the Bible.
Sandy, God created Satan. He is a fallen angel. That is so not a ‘gotcha’ question. And Provo is a great example of Mormon zombieism. The original stepford wives is a great analogy of Mormon women in Utah. My now husband has even commented on the ‘mormon stare’ and fake smile.

He was deviously clever and used his stolen power to make demons which he uses as his henchmen. He is the father of lies! Lucifer is the opposite, not the brother of God’s only begotten son, Jesus Christ! Satan devotes himself to the destruction of anything resembling God and His principles! Satan teaches that men will become God for all eternity, if his evil temptations are adopted! Today Satan is working feverishly to destroy good, for he knows time is growing short!

Still laughing. Stop regurgitating what you are told and actually check out the IRS info on the major counter cult ministries. I said the same things when I was LDS, then I researched it for myself. The ‘industry’ is the LDS owned bookstores. They get you coming and going, especially since members are often discouraged from shopping at Christian bookstores.
BTW, I occasionally work, and am good friends with one of the larger ones, the owners have ‘day jobs’ to support themselves so any donations go straight to the ministry and they live modestly.

Care to point any out Sandy? I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU. The work of the Tanners, Hulses, Higleys, McKeevers are all impeccable. Pick up a copy of Utah Lighthouse Messenger and study it, check out the footnotes and you will see that they are all correct and well researched. What could it hurt?
The only thing you risk is your false gospel. And what you could gain is a wonderful relationship with the Jesus of the Bible. No ‘church’ needed.
