Prayers up for Linda, definitely. I just came off of retreat at Conception Abbey in Missouri. It was good to see so many young faces in the Benedictine robes. Hope springs eternal.
I’d like to add Sharon, if I may. She has about 3 weeks left, they think. She has hospice at home. Her husband and 3 kids will miss her very much. It didn’t have to happen, either. After a double mastectomy she developed new symptoms. The military docs told her it was all in her head and sent her to a psychologist. In that 6 months, the cancer (now in her bones) was left alone to grow like crazy.
Prayers for Linda and for Sharon and for those they leave behind.

An update - Today, on the Feast of Christ the King, at 4pm, Linda died (lung/bone cancer). She was 56. She will be greatly missed. Thank you for your prayers - please remember her family. Thanks -
