Thank God for the evidence of the written word. Your posts are empty of Scripture, Mark. And when confronted by God's word, you do not appear to understand it. The verses I provided clearly tell us God gives us the ability to repent. All good things come from God, Mark. Anyone who claims otherwise is boasting of himself, and that never ends well. You are very funny. I post far more Scripture than you do, and do it to provide context, as opposed to the out of context snippets and coupon clippings of the Reformation. Anyone who claims that they know that they are saved is heretically boasting of themselves. Know anybody of that ilk? All good things come from God; all heretical things come of the Reformation. Where are you going to lay your lance? With God or with the Reformation?

Read your Bible, Mark. Study to show yourself approved.

Anyone who claims that they know that they are saved is heretically boasting of themselves. No boasting in ourselves Mark, boasting in Christ..
Only someone that believes his salvation depended on himself could say that ..boasting that he may be able to be good enough or do enough to be worthy to be saved ..geee God would be lucky to have him
Not of works Mark, not of works.. Christ is the author and finisher ...He saved us and He keeps us...
