Blame Paul for what? He is an Apostle....and Peter says we should listen to him....he also notes who will not enter the Kingdom of God in 1Cor 6....

I’m simply saying that, whether intended or not, he helped create a certain “sectiness” by planting so many churches that had the opportunity to grow independently after he left them and sometimes drift on certain specific issues. Yes, he frequently corrected them and admonished them from time to time - but it was always needing to be done. Even though things became more doctrinally centralized as the Church grew (and knit the geographical gaps together), I sometimes wonder if the pattern wasn’t set for later years.
