One more time. What is THE Gospel? ((((Crickets))) How many times do we have to answer this? As many times as it takes, I guess.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Does your KJV or your Geneva Bible not call them the Gospel?

(I would not believe in the Gospel if the authority of the Catholic Church did not move me to do so..)

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Does your KJV or your Geneva Bible not call them the Gospel? We all know they are called "The Gospel According To Matthew", "The Gospel According To Mark", etc. The word in Greek is euaggelion and means "good/glad news", "glad/good tidings". The question all along has been what do you think the good news is?

Does your KJV or your Geneva Bible not call them the Gospel?Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Luk 9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
The Gospel existed long before the books we call the gospels were written..What was the gospel Jesus preached? What was the gospel that the apostles preached?
