I ate a half of a glazed doughnut before mass when I was 7 or 8. I was so hungry but was supposed to be fasting before Communion.
lol, reminds me of Easter. My mother would buy us each a basket with those cheap marshmallow eggs— I liked the blue ones. She get us all cleaned up and tell us not to eat them before church. by the time we got in the car we were all sticky, hands and face— she’d say “Did you eat candy?” We’d say no, lol
