Written exclusively for the Jews, the gospel requires extensive editing, reinterpretation, and redaction in order to fit the theology of the "reformation".

But that is clearly not the entirety of what is meant by "the Gospel." Christ Himself referenced "the Gospel" while He was still alive. Therefore, "the Gospel" cannot be a "record of the life and teachings of Jesus" since His life and teachings had not yet been completed.
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel." -- Mark 1:14-15"Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God,
Therefore Rome teaches an incomplete Gospel. No doubt because Rome does not recognize nor understand "the Gospel of the kingdom of God."
Christians really should know "the Gospel" if they presume themselves to be among His family. Read your Bible, Natural Law. God willing, He will show you "what the gospel even is."
