I agree with the exception that I do not like women reading the scripture, either.

For some reason, women who read the scriptures somehow think they are “specialer” than others. I don’t like men playing the music, either.

I just don’t want the women to serve in any role. It is wonderful to have an all-male mass.

Now see, I think there's nothing nicer than a beautiful male voice singing hymns. Of course, when was the last time I actually heard "hymns" in church? Ha. (at Christmastime, even my non-Catholic husband bristles at the guitar-strummed, hurried pace of O Come Emmanuel so favored by our musicians -- he calls it the "Bonanza" version!)
