The book BUTCHERING, PROCESSING and PRESERVING OF MEAT by Frank G Ashbrook (1955) clearly shows the method for slitting sheep and pig throats for regular slaughter.
It says on page 73 about hogs, “It is best not to stun or shoot a hog before sticking.”
And page 107 clearly tells (with photos on page 108) how to stick a lamb without stunning it.
What people seem to dispise is that muzzleman prayers to an arabic deity are said when the animal is slaughtered. In other words, meat sacrificed to a false Arabic god.
If that's happening in America I'm glad we're armed (I'll leave it at that).
