Well your leadership, for reasons political, for growth, and for reasons known only to them, threw open the candy store to the supernatural that your "saints" have been experiencing for years, for everybody to taste of, so I don't see how you can blame Protestants for it. In fact, many Protestants and others, who remain grounded in the Word of God, never embraced any of it, still don't and never will.

The whole allure of it is to not follow any kind of doctrine whatsoever, just go with the flow--- have supernatural experiences and attribute them to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Like the Jewish teacher said about Christianity, if it's the work of the Holy Spirit, nothing can stop it. If it's the work of Satan, then perhaps Malachi Martin and some other priests who have spoken out are right, especially with all that has been happening with your clergy of late-- that Satan is alive and well in your old church.

From what I've read, your leaders have even more fun planned, more exorcisms, more visions, more prophesyings, more miracles, to bring the rubes to Catholicism. The danger though is that regional cult leaders will begin to rule, just like gurus, but they will be known as "prophets" and even more unholy shenanigans will soon follow.

Ain't gonna happen. The days of following after Protestantism in general, and Pentecostalism in particular, which you just so aptly described, are over.

Worth reading again.
