There is no place in the Word of God (which is Jesus by the way, He is the Word made flesh) that says that Mary was without sin in order to carry Jesus. She of course conceived immaculately, and also, this was not a situation where God would allow Mary or Joseph to “give even the appearance of evil” because under Hebrew law, a betrothed couple were allowed conjugal rights before the actual ceremony. So even her conception was a holy thing that would not have drawn attention to it when she became with child — except Joseph knew he had not lain with her. In other words, it was all kosher and under Jewish law that she and Joseph could sleep together as betrothed.
That said, this still speaks nothing of Mary’s sin or sinless state. It is ridiculous to even think that anyone but Jesus was without sin. I have no idea where this legend arose in Catholicism but it breeds a Mary veneration that is not cool with the Lord God.
Yes she was blessed among women, and yes her virgin birth of Christ was prophesied over the centuries, even to Genesis, but this is not because she was sinless. It is because it was God’s will that His son was born through that Davidic bloodline, by a virgin.
Great. Now to the daily task of our carrying own personal cross, dying to self, and following Him... which has nothing to do with Mary. She needed the gift of the Holy Spirit to fall on her at Pentecost just as it did the other disciples... nothing special here to see folks.
Thank you for preaching. Not everyone agrees with you, nor feels compelled to take your post seriously.

INDEED. THX.
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name.
He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit.
He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever. "
"my spirit rejoices in God my Savior"=Savior
She is saying Savior in the present tense.
How is God her Savior before Christ dying on the cross. How does the timeline add up? Unless God who is Christ is outside time and space because he is eternal saves her.
