I read a lot of Lewis in my day. I too never saw a reflection of such doctrine in his work. Perhaps that is because it is not part of Christian thouigfht and he was writing on Christianity... Lewis regarded Mormons, and Jehovahs Witnesses, as heretics, and the doctrine within his writings speak out against them.
I vaguely remember the JW comments but not the Mormon ones but it stands to reason.
