Your statement that Jesus paid the price BUT we have to work for it makes no sense. Either He paid the FULL price or He did not. The Biblical Jesus is sufficient the lds jesus is not and needs help.
A twisted way to interpret what was said. Typical.
You have no interest in what was plainly said. We have only one Savior. The one in the Holy Bible. The same one I speak of.
And then fell in the trap of their false religion...
Assuming you were as you state to begin with, which we will always question due to the game play and general less than straightforward way the LDS like yourself deal with the things.
The only thing that gives you benefit of doubt as to being possible a former "anti" of any stripe is the disjointed logic you seem to posses.
Even at that your were a reactionary at best, not one who had studied WHY you were against Mormonism, which still made you ripe for the trap, perhaps even more so, for they played the guilt bit on their prey. It is their way, no trick is off the table.
My statement stands.
--Your Mormon leaderhsip has taught that Jesus was married
--Mormon leadership teaches that god the father of Jesus was once a man and progressed to godhood through earned exaltation
--Your Mormon leadership teaches that you must earn the Grace of God in Christ, BEFORE you can have it counted for you
--Your Mormon religion teaches baptism for people who died without accepting Salvation in Jesus Christ
--By implication, Mormon leadership teaches that no one can have Salvation without Mormon baptism
--Your Moron leadership teaches that ALL of Christianity--not some, not most, not a little, but ALL--was in total apostasy from the death of the last Apostle until the peepstone fraud named Joseph Smith restored Christianity to the human family
--Your religion teaches that Egyptian hieroglyphs which have now been translated correctly to praise Egyptian gods instead were translated as Smith claimed in the spacious Book of Abraham/Pearl of Great Price
--As an affirming Mormon, you have to sign onto the manufactured eight hundred plus word smithian prophecy Joe Smith added at the end of the Book of Genesis in which he fabricated a prophecy of his coming forth in these latter days (BTW, is that where you get the 'latter day saints' name?)
--Your religion contradicts the Bible in many ways and over many passages of Bible teaching, making the feeble attempt at absolving yourselves with the lame excuse that the Bible can only be believe where it is translated correctly ... as proclaimed by a peepstone, sexual predator of married women, who manufactured whole books of what you call scripture using an Egyptian papri which has nothing to do witht he fairytale your 'prophet' made up
Yeah, I can see why you stopped rallying against Mormonism and embrace the leis. When you become born again, if you ever do, the stark terror of what you swallowed will be very unsavory. And I pray that someday you do awaken to the heresies listed above, so that you may trust solely in the Grace of God in Christ and be delivered from your sin nature and be born into the real family of God, not the progressive god of Mormonism.
lds says: “after all we can do”.
Either Jesus is sufficient or He is not.
The Bible says He is, lds says he is not.
The unsubstantiated claim of yours is hollow, it has no standing and by that fact you have no standing.
The burden of proof for "discrepancy" is yours and yours alone. It is not the job of a bunch of links, it is not the job of fellow apologist, it is not the job of the "lurkers" or "readers" it is not even the job of those you accuse of deceit or wearing “blinders’ or whatever term you choose.
In the court of ideas, like in all courts the one who makes the charge must also substantiate it.
If you don't have the courage of your convictions to stand for your own ideas, if you think game play and ill placed hubris are appropriate ways to represent your arguments, you are better off standing for nothing, that is a better safe harbor for a philosophical coward.
If you were interested in the truth you would also be interested in defending it personally and not leave it to chance.
You are interested in the truth aren't you?
You can find THE SAME THING in the 'Book of MORMON' which JS supposedly TRANSLATED!
He (and others) IGNORED the Bible and their OWN SCRIPTURE!

It was JUST 5 months ago - does NO one read her blog?
It appears no one uses it as a reference for my oft asked question!
In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet, for our salvation depends on them.
1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say Thus Saith the Lord, to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by mens reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidencythe highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidencythe living prophet and the First Presidencyfollow them and be blessedreject them and suffer.
I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captainhow close do our lives harmonize with the Lords anointedthe living ProphetPresident of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.
Ezra Taft Benson
(Address given Tuesday, February 26, 1980 at Brigham Young University)
OMG, that sounds demonic.
Yes it does, placemarker.
Agreed
Here’s another thing that gets me. Ezra Taft Benson was such a staunch anti communist. I’ve always felt that people who were seduced by the idea of communism or socialism and went out and supported socialist/communist parties/candidates/policies, were in essence doing the work of the devil. And when I read about Taft, I’ve admired the work he did to expose the evil that is communism but I never knew about that statement. I guess it leaves me with many questions.
The author has moved on to another website on which more of the whining about "persecution" continues. I won't post the link for obvious reasons. ;)
Only because I posted it.
If a MORMON had posted exactly the same thing; there'd be high-fives all around and PD would praise it!
“My attitude, like that of other latter-day saints is to “live and let live.” I don't care what religion you choose, or if you choose to believe nothing at all, so long as you leave Mormons alone.”
LOL...
PARK THE BIKES!!!
PARK THE BIKES!!!
BTW, we are a “hate group” now?
Cool...
I guess the threshold is very low by LDS standards, and included those who don't hate but all those who have the temerity to challenge the almighty Mormons...
I would ask for examples of the hate, that they would susbstatinate the charge, but I have been down that road a million times since I started actively trying to stop the deceit of the LDS. If it weren't for hollow charges and empty claims the Morg would have little to say. Well it is interesting that SPAM has resurrected once again, I love the site the first time, it was really funny to read the little world they have built for themselves. The aggressive arrogant tone tied to the quick turns at fained "who, me?" victim hood and persecution is just fascinating to me.
