The Vedas teach of hell, in the Puranas there are many descriptions of not just one but many hells. The punishments are of extremely long duration, but not eternal.
And all atheists go to hell, it is stated.

LOL. Manufactured fear of a supernatural eternal evil place doesn't work on atheists. It only works on people who have the ability to believe in supernaturalism.
Serious question: Okay, I'm an atheist and I'm going to hell. Fine. Is there any difference between myself, who rejects the idea of anything supernatural and, say, my orthodox Jewish neighbor? Or my observant Catholic friend? Or my son's Hindi playmate? Yes, I know these are "basic" and "gotcha" questions, but I really AM curious what someone like you thinks about this stuff.
