I’m curious... does anybody here know how the muslims acted during the pope’s visit? Were there any demonstrations by them or statements by their imams? Or were most of the protests and noise from the leftists and secularists?

Nope. Haven't heard a word about any disturbances. I wouldn't think they would. First of all, European Muslims are totally different from Arab Muslims as they have lived side by side the Orthodox and RC church for centuries. Second, the RC has been pretty supportive of the Palestinian cause in the Middle East, due to having had its own share of hardships throughout it all. Christian Palestinians have been leaving in droves. I wouldn't think there’d be much uproar against the Pope.

The only reason the Middle East and the Wahhabi’s are at odds with the US is because of our support of Israel's right to exist which Americans have insisted upon much to the dismay of our politicians who would just as soon the whole thing would go away. It's not that Americans are anti-Palestinian, it's just that we're for “why can't we all just get along.”
