They like to pray TO Mary. In fact anyone that is dead that Catholics like is prayed TO for help, wisdom etc..

I'm pretty sure there is nothing but condemnation for that kind of thing in Judaism. The Mary worship is like the pagan worship of the "queen of heaven".

The Apostolic succession that Catholic claim is through Peter is just a control mechanism. I lost count of how many times, "it is written" is stated in the Bible. What we need to know is in there. The truth is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Amen

All we can do is pray FOR Catholics and hope they see the light. I believe God is merciful ... sometimes they do pray TO Christ, so perhaps we will see some in heaven too!

Amen

Bible based Christianity also condemns it.

Here's an example of a Mary prayer commonly used in the month of May.

Remember most loving Virgin Mary,
never was it heard
that anyone that turned to you for help
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I run to your protection
for you are my mother
Mother of the Word of God,
do not despise my words of pleading,
but be merciful and hear my prayer.

Amen.

They don't understand that Mary was a vessel used to glorify Christ. She wasn't perfect. She wasn't omnipresent. Mary wasn't omnipotent. Mary wasn't omniscient. Mary in not a deity. No where in the Bible does it even HINT at that. This is all made up stuff that keeps a barrier there between a hopeful believer and Christ. It's really a shame. Perverting Communion as they do really bothers me. The Bible states eating human flesh or eating human blood is taboo ... it's a way of perverting remembrance ... of Him and what He did.
