If Mohammed is SO wrong on SO many points . . . how can he be a prophet of Allah?
- If all that Allah created is good and perfect, why do Muslims perform clitorectomy's?
- The covering over women's faces have been proven to be harmful to vision. Why would Allah prescribe something that is harmful?
- Muslims don't believe Christ was resurrected. But, He was seen over a period of 40 days by numerous witnesses. It is impossible that many people would lie, and incomprehensable that many of them would die violent deaths for a lie.
- And, probably most blatant - Islam considers Christ just another prophet (actually below Mohammed), which is TOTALLY impossible. Jesus is either who He said He is (The Only Begotten Son of God, among others), or He was an imposter - there can be no middle ground.
So, if Allah was so wrong, how can he be believed on anything. Actually, the Jews stoned to death false prophets.
Muslims, I urge you to think about your religion and not just accept what you are told. Christains and Jews are told to test everything they hear and read. Muslims are ordered to blindly obey. Doesn't your heart tell you something is wrong when it is considered acceptable, and even commanded, to lie to infidels?

Anyone can be a prophet of Allah. To be a prophet of GOD is another story.
Ya know, your last sentence in post #1 gives me pause, because I really like Irshad Manji, yet for all her great intellect she cannot see the contradictions in Is-lame. She still believes it is a peaceful religion despite knowing that later passages in the corn are to be taken as more valid than earlier passages ... and in the later passages adherents are commanded to ‘keel the infidels’ if they will not convert/submit.

Likewise the New Testament was deemed corrupt. Thus began the Islamic Myth of the corrupted holy books.
A casual reader of blogs like mine will come upon hundreds of comments left by Muslims taunting Christian and Jewish readers about their corrupt Holy books.
But Muslims have a unique mental ability (which they share with American liberals) that allows them to believe in two contradictory and mutually exclusive concepts at the same time.
In one part of a Muslim’s brain he will snarkily insult the Holy Book of the unbeliever as corrupt, inaccurate, and incomplete in contrast to the Quran which is uncreated, immutable and perfect. Another section of his brain, without input from the other part, will declare that Mohammed’s Coming is predicted in the Torah 1 as well as in the New Testament. 2
It is astonishing to the western mind that one can believe that Mohammed’s coming was predicted in the Bible and while quoting those very sections that exist in the current version we have, insist at the same time that the current version we have is corrupt and cannot be believed.
If I were given a choice of believing in little green men who rule the Earth from the planet Zaon, or believing in Islam, the little green men would have my worship and devotion. Can there be anyone more stupid than Muslims who say these things?
